Job Summary:

 

As a Front Desk / Guest Service Agent at Black Desert Resort, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, embodying the resort’s commitment to exceptional service. Your primary role will be to provide a welcoming, efficient, and seamless experience for guests from arrival through departure.

 

Job Specifications:

 

Onsite: Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time

Salary Range: $16.00/ Hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Projected Start Date: August 5th

 

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival, using their name to personalize the interaction. Efficiently check guests in and out of the resort, ensuring all procedures are followed meticulously.
  • Address guests by name during all interactions.
  • Provide information about resort amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and poise.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly and accurately.
  • Meet and exceed the hotel guest service standards.
  • Handle reservation bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Operate the resort’s Private Branch Exchange (PBX) system, including handling incoming and outgoing calls, transferring calls, and providing general information to callers.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests over the phone, providing courteous and efficient service.
  • Manage internal communication systems, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of messages to guests and staff.
  • Assist guests with wake-up calls, voicemail, and other telecommunication services.
  • Work collaboratively with the concierge, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Agent, PBX operator, or similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-stress situations with grace.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
  • A commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
