Job Overview
The Front Desk Night Manager is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk during nighttime hours, ensuring the highest standards of guest service are upheld while addressing any overnight issues that may arise. This position will be responsible for overseeing all front desk activities during the night, managing night staff, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests at all hours.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time
The budgeted range starts at $58,000 – $65,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Oversee the nightly operations of the front desk, ensuring all procedures are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and support the night staff, including training and development to ensure high-quality service.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, reservations, and provide assistance with guest inquiries and concerns during the night.
- Ensure all guest issues are resolved promptly and to their satisfaction, with a focus on maintaining the resort’s high standards.
- Monitor and manage the security of the resort during the night, coordinating with security personnel as needed.
- Prepare nightly reports and handover notes for the morning staff, ensuring seamless transition between shifts.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Respond to emergencies and unexpected situations effectively, ensuring guest safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary to ensure all guest needs are met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Must able to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $58,000.00/Yr. – $65,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
