Job Overview
We have been retained by a Salt Lake City hotel to conduct a private search for a Hotel Sales Manager.
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Sales Manager to lead the sales effort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for increasing hotel revenue by attracting new business, managing relationships with key clients, and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel.
– Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in corporate, group, and leisure markets.
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and event organizers.
– Collaborate with the hotel’s operations, marketing, and front desk teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
– Prepare regular sales reports, analyzing performance and adjusting strategies accordingly.
– Organize and participate in networking events, trade shows, and sales calls to promote the hotel.
– Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as needed.
– Ensure accurate and timely communication of sales contracts and bookings to all relevant hotel departments.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
– Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
– Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
– Familiarity with hospitality software systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) is a plus.
