We’re looking for qualified Line Cooks. Our Cooks are responsible for preparing food for our guests and assisting with various aspects of food preparation The Line Cook ensures the food is up to the set standard, work effectively with team members, keep stations sanitary and in compliance standards, and have proven kitchen experience.

Major responsibilities include:

  • maintaining set pars of food quantity.
  • Assuring that the quality of the food is up to the set standards.
  • Personal workspace cleanliness and organization are a must to work this position at this level.
  • Working with co-workers and encouraging them to do the same.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain the quantity of the food based on set pars.
  • Maintain the quality of the food based on set standards.
  • Maintain a clean workstation.
  • Stay busy at all times, help others or ask for additional tasks.
  • Encourage co-workers to do the same.
  • Realize the whole operation when completing individual tasks.
  • Kitchen experience is essential
  • Previous line cook experience is a plus but not a must.

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Education

  • High School Student or Graduate. Willing to continue education of food while on the job.

Experience

  • Kitchen experience is essential
  • Previous line cook experience is a plus but not a must.

 

Skills

  • Must have good knife skills.
  • Must have a good sense of timing.
  • Must understand a variety of cooking techniques.
  • Must understand different steak temperatures.
  • Must be able to take assignments willingly.
  • Must love food and feeding people.
  • Must be able to lift heavy things.

30-39 hours per week, Medical benefits offered.
