Job Overview

Hotel Park City, Located in beautiful Park City, UT; a proud member of Autograph Collection Hotels by Marriott International, is currently seeking a detailed, customer service driven, Lead Concierge.

At Hotel Park City the Lead Concierge is critical to guest satisfaction.

Daily duties include welcoming guests, assisting guests with specific requests including, but not limited to; providing directions, booking reservations on and off the property, coordinating with bell and restaurant staff to meet immediate guest needs, coordinating with local vendors & bookings.

The Lead Concierge also responds & assists the Hotel Front Desk with needs that may arise to include resolving guest inquires and complaints.

This person should be very comfortable interacting with guests and potential clients in a highly professional manner.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a personal demeanor that is friendly, cheerful and courteous at all times, greeting guests by name.
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcomed to the property.
  • Book reservations for transportation or other attractions.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Welcome and effectively resolve guest questions, issues and complaints as needed.
  • Provide constant and consistent communication with other departments and supervisors/managers in order to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash, credit card, currency conversions and other financial transactions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

General Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills; MS Office, Opera PMS experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read, communicate effectively and have superb interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure while retaining composure when resolving guest needs or complaints.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry at a luxury level preferred.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor: ability to graciously interact with, guests, vendors, and coworkers.
