Job Overview

JOB SUMMARY: This position must be able to inspire the team. Focusing on maintaining a consistent positive attitude and exceeding all expectations for themselves, the company, and most importantly the guests. Possessing and creating positive energy is a requirement.


o Maintain operations of your assigned station for that day

o Assist in daily prep or any other assigned item by the Manager.

o Check and complete mise en place and pars and set up station (using proper recipes and only fresh quality is accepted).

o Communicate with Manager regarding menu items, problems, situations or shortages.

o Must always be accommodating for any and all guest request making sure that the sous or Executive sous are aware of the request and we can prepare it at our the level of our standards.

o Use standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.

o Be aware of the inventory of items on station that we are running out of and writing it down for food service ordering and future station preparation.

o Maintain a great working relationship with all staff, management and guests.

o Store all items properly at the end of shift, labeling and dating all products.

o Ensure clean, neat and organized work area.

o Ensure proper communication between am / pm.

o Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the ranch and encourage other staff to do the same.

o Make sure front kitchen is cleaned down and drawers empty and ready for the next shift.

o Perform other task or projects as assigned by management.

o Have a flexible schedule and must work holidays.

o Clean and organize and label your shift mise en place cart.



o Must have culinary degree and/or equivalent experience.

o Must have some practical experience working in a kitchen.
