Job Overview

The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager directs supervisors and staff in maintaining standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance as established by the hospital or facility in accordance with facility and Joint Commission standards. This position provides leadership and vision to achieve departmental, facility and corporate goals. The EVS Manager creates a positive work environment and works with caregivers to resolve employee concerns and issues. This position is also responsible to keep management informed on the immediate condition of all areas. The EVS Manager coordinates across all Environmental Services departments in the system and assigned geographic area.
