Job Overview
Come join our award-winning team as the Event Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sandy. This position is full-time. Sales and managerial experience a must! Requires a variable work schedule based on events which may include some weekends. Accepting resumes until January 20th.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years of training or experience directly related to event planning and coordination
- Completion of a program or certificate in meetings management or directly related field is preferred
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Availability Monday-Friday during business day for clients -via email, phone, or in person
Performance Expectations
- Acquire and maintain meeting groups and clients
- Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guests’ needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest
- Understand revenue management functions and account profitability
- Oversee all the logistics of events and meeting space
- Model great customer service always to all guests and clients
- Payroll/gratuities for events, restaurant, and cooking staff
- Conduct hotel tours and site inspections for potential customers
