Job Overview

We are looking for a leader with the charisma and leadership skills to thrive as the Executive Housekeeper in a high energy, fast paced upscale hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and services which exceed the needs of employees and guests.
  • Ensure that the Housekeeping and Laundry teams adhere to Radisson standards of operation and provides Yes I Can! service to all guests
  • Perform regular inspections of guest rooms
  • Oversees inventory, purchasing, disbursement and cost control for all linens, cleaning supplies, customer room and restroom supplies, laundry supplies, etc.
  • Exceed guest expectations by providing genuine hospitality, paying personal attention to details, and caring for the guests and Housekeeping staff
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
  • Plan and coordinate hotel housing activities by working closely with Sales, Catering, Front Office, and other departments
  • Recruit, hire, retain, and manage a staff of 40+ employees.
  • Provide employees with coaching and counseling to help them succeed and reach their fullest potential.
  • Work with Accounting Department to maintain departmental budget.

 

Position Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Two to three years hotel management experience
  • One year minimum upscale hotel experience
  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  •  Bilingual – English/Spanish preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts of guests, supervisors and employee
  • Dynamic, energetic personality, with an eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite and reporting system skills

 

Physical Requirements:

  • May need to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Proper lifting techniques required
  • Exertion up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of forces frequently
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Ability to use various equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers
