A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing? As a Guest Services Agent, you would be responsible for greeting and registering guests and checking guests out of the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: • Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany him/her • Assist guests with check-out including, but not limited to ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change and processing gift certificates and cards • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area and other general product knowledge and answer guest questions and inquiries • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and to maximize room occupancy • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner • Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction • Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests • We have a restaurant and the front desk is responsible for bartending, taking orders and making the food. Sales Coordinator-

1. Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases. 2. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. 3. Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process. Makes presence known to customer at all times during this process. Is available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements. 4. Proactively identifies operational challenges associated with his/her event and works with the hotel staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions. 5. Manages banquet and meeting space for assigned groups. 6. Advises sales staff as to ability to accommodate client demands including phone requirements, fit of available space and materials such as booths. Assist sales staff in promoting hotel developing leads and securing re-bookings. 7. Access and input data into a computer system to generate account history reports. 8. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. 9. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Floor Houseperson

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents. • Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed. • Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion. • Clean ashtrays and empty trash. • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. • Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Breakfast Attendant-

 

Meet and greet guests as they arrive and offer choice of seating in the dining area. Assist guests with their food and beverage needs while in the dining area. Maintain proper set-up of dining area. Preparation of food according to Crescent/brand standards and ensuring proper temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations. Replenish food and service supplies and utensils in the dining area. Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen & dining areas. Clean out all refrigerators and reach-ins daily; label, date and rotate all food items. Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum dining area. Ensure all food orders are put up and stored in proper places with proper dating. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and guests.
