Job Overview

Included but not limited to:

  • Provide level 1 & 2 support for all colleague requests for hotel systems and applications using the internal ticketing system
  • Schedule and perform regular software and hardware maintenance
  • Follow appropriate company standards of PC imaging, configurations and software installations
  • Establish priorities for daily, weekly, and monthly projects and related tasks based on business needs to meet deadlines
  • Apply or assist in operating system patches, application updates, and approved corporate software tools for Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Maintain internal software/hardware inventory systems
  • Assist with general IT needs as directed from the IT manager
  • Maintain and uphold Hyatt security posture

Qualifications 

  • Entry level position, with up to 2 years IT help desk or similar systems support experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to logically diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to learn new technologies and implements them
  • Comfortable responding to customer/colleague issues via phone, email, computer chat and in person
  • Detail oriented
  • Manage IT Ticket Queue
  • Basic knowledge of OSI TCP/IP Model and network fundamentals
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/Windows server enterprise environment
  • Ability to partner with IT escalation teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues
  • Microsoft O/S, Apple O/S-iOS, and other major O/S
  • Wireless networking architecture and troubleshooting
  • Hotel IT or Operations experience a plus

 

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+ Certification

CompTIA Network+ Certification

Functional knowledge of hospitality-technologies
