Job Overview
POSITION PURPOSE
Reconcile and post daily revenue activity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Reconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work.
- Run find trial balance to post rooms and close day.
- Run accounts receivable reports.
- Provide next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office as required.
- Perform duties of front desk agent as assigned.
- Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Micros tapes and journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters’ fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
- Run audit reports and journals from all credit card and computer systems.
- Input revenue, expenses, and allowance to generate required daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
- Balance all revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day’s operations.
- Make corrections and adjustments and handle any computer issues that may arise.
- Ensure all reports and back-up vouchers are complete and filed properly.
- Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department.
- Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
- Coordinate the front desk and restaurant\bar closing to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of systems for next day operations.
- Diligently fulfill responsibilities of front desk supervision, guest service agent, reservations agent, and telephone operator as needed.
- Maintain focus on guest, ensuring pleasant, efficient experience when checking in/out or resolving issues.
Physical Demands
- Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
- Must be able to stand at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are required the rest of the working day. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.
- Ability to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, 10-key adding machine, electric typewriter, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers, dolly and other office equipment as needed.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education: High school or equivalent education preferred
Experience: One to two years in a Front Office or Accounting position. Prior hotel experience preferred
Schedule: Must be able to work 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Sunday – Thursday.
Licenses or Certificates: Not applicable.
Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Driftwood Hospitality Management, LLC and brand standards.
