Job Description:
Perform routine, administrative duties to key sales and catering team personnel, including but not limited to:
  • Support, distribute and organize all customer and hotel communications including, but not limited to, phone coverage, emails, reporting, solicitation, and voice of customer communication distribution o
  • Producing reports and communications as needed
  • Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for the hotel which are aligned with Radisson’s overall mission, vision values and strategies o Assists with developing and implementing strategies for achieving group, convention and catering sales goals

Contributes to the Sales and/or Catering Team’s individual and team goals by assisting with the preparation of group, convention, and catering-related business

  • Supports managers with convention planners, sales account managers and clients on their needs
  • Assists Sales with prospective customers
  • Assists on-site client inspections to illustrate available services, and educates customer on meeting and sleeping room set-ups and capabilities
  • Supports customer satisfaction with convention and group business; follows-up with key contacts on a regular basis to assess satisfaction
  • Ensure all materials used are in accordance with brand standards  Maintains proper flow of information to/from sales and/or team, reviews work file of assigned accounts and managers
  • Communicates clients’ requests via group resumes, BEOs and billing distribution to all departments in an effective and timely manner
  • Prepares reports as necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities o Manages the Inquiry logs, Group Room Control (GRC) and Group Diary logs

Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations o Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service o Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems

  • Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction

Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest

Responsibility #1 (65%): Provides day-to-day support for Sales Team, including fielding and directing incoming calls, assistance with the coordination of bookings between sales team, assisting with the detailing of Banquet and Event Orders (BEOs) as confirmed contracts are received, and serving as the main point of contact for Sales Team.

Responsibility #2 (25%): Research leads on new clients for potential business, meeting, and space needs under the direction of the Sales Team, and passes off as appropriate.

Responsibility #3 (10%): Providing excellent customer service and Yes I Can! Attitude to co-workers, guests, and potential clients. Performing administrative duties and support for General Manager and other EC members, as needed
