This position is located remotely in the mid-west of the United States.





This role is based in the Midwest region in the United States and reports directly to the Head of Sales – The Americas, representing Aman in the high-end luxury segment with full account management including travel trade, wholesalers, MICE and any other relevant HNW business. This role is responsible for the creation, implementation, and execution of the sales and marketing strategies for all key segments within the designated states, for communicating and aligning with the overall global sales strategy, and specific responsibility for the delivery of room revenue and occupancy.


  • Represent Aman properties and all business units in the designated states in the Midwest region overseeing all market segments – Wholesale, Corporate, Weddings & Celebrations, Consortia and MICE with heavy emphasis on high-end leisure
  • Manage and drive strategy for key accounts, key prospects, and partnerships in all market segments
  • Responsible for achieving room revenue and occupancy targets through development and execution of a regional sales strategy – through excellent customer service and protection of the brand integrity
  • Devote attention to the business development and solicitation of business opportunities with sound analytics, plans and events supported by return on investments information.
  • Capture greater market share and increase revenue through regional and global sales & marketing strategies in designated region
  • Develop strong relationships with company owners and decision makers to drive incremental brand awareness and revenue
  • Establish and/or maintain travel industry relations including airlines, industry associations, tourism boards to support brand awareness and implement strategies to support the hotels and destinations
  • Creation and implementation of a sales and marketing action plan and budget for the Midwest region all markets (travel trade, wholesalers, MICE, Weddings & Events, HNW clients)
  • Assess marketing opportunities and trends that compliment Aman’s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information
  • Conduct weekly sales presentations in-person or virtually. Submit a weekly sales & marketing report via Next Guest including summary of key appointments and return on investment
  • Sales calls to target existing and new accounts including but not limited to Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Villa Companies, MICE, Creative Marketing agencies, corporate accounts, wedding, and incentive planners
  • Coordinate familiarization trips and site inspections with selected key travel professionals
  • Plan, organize and execute client engagement events including product presentations, sales trips, sales missions, luxury trade shows, roadshows, and HNW consumer events
  • Build strong relationships with property sales teams and General Managers through regular dialogue and proactively design and implement short, medium- and long-term tactical strategies to drive business to their hotels
  • Work closely with Corporate Office teams, responding on timely manner to projects, submitting reports, and completing administrative tasks when requested


  • 6-10 years of experience of Travel Industry in the USA markets relevant to this role, preferably as Regional Sales Manager
  • Degree holder in Sales & Marketing and who is confident and articulate with a professional appearance
  • Understand the expectations and trends of luxury and lifestyle travellers
  • Demonstrate strong existing relationships with clients and luxury travel partners with a positive track record of sales performance
  • Display excellent communications and interpersonal skills to engage with others
  • Highly self-motivated and hands-on with sales presentations, events coordination, and day-to-day operations
  • Fluency in business English, MS Office skills
  • Strong sales experience in the Leisure, MICE and corporate segments within the luxury travel and hospitality industries
