Job Overview


The Spa Receptionist is responsible for the reception area at the spa.

Answer the phone promptly.
Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa facilities.
Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments.
Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operation.
Issue spa lockers, robes and sandals to guests and receive keys upon check-out.
Provide orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests questions.
Assist with all laundry duties as necessary.
Actively promote and provide detailed descriptions of retail products, sales and special promotions.
With direction, regularly create and change product displays to promote various products, seasons and holidays.
Handle guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Other duties as assigned.
Weekends and holidays required.
Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.
Must work professionally under pressure.
Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.

High School Diploma or GED
No previous Spa experience necessary, however, the right person for this position will be highly trainable and able to work alone.
Attendance at any product and service training courses is required.
