Cosmetologist

Job Overview

As a Salon Cosmetologist or Esthetician at the Cliff Spa, you will take the Cliff Spa Salon to the next level by providing outstanding service and treatments to guests. You will perform all treatments offered in the Cliff Spa Salon such as manicures, pedicures, facials, haircuts (with cosmetologist license), and various other beauty services.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Performing all treatments offered in the Cliff Spa Salon such as manicures, pedicures, facials, haircuts (with cosmetologist license), and various other beauty services.
• Being dependable, punctual and responsible for individual shifts.
• Working weekends and holidays as required by business levels.
• Having product knowledge, being willing to learn about the products and services we offer, and up-selling salon and facial products in our retail shop.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Utah Cosmetologist or Esthetician License required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Part-time, 2-3 days/week.
• Sunday availability required.
• Monday and/or Thursday availability preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures.
• May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must demonstrate ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
