Job Description

Responsible for greeting and registering all guests and providing door & bell service when needed. Establishing guest accounts for the duration of their stay in a pleasant and courteous manner. Performing all concierge duties to meet every guests’ needs & requests. Serving meals and drinks where needed. Qualifications should include experience in a luxury hotel with emphasis on polite, courteous, outgoing individuals with excellent communication & organizational skills. Experience operating multi-line phones, taking guest reservations, providing guests with room rates, room availability and information on local attractions is advantageous. Must be able to work a flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends and holidays.).

Position Responsibilities

  • 25% Provide accurate room rates, room availability, group events and stays, hotel policies & procedures (emergency procedures included)

  • Assist with planning guest vacation and making sure to meet each of their requests/needs
  • 10% Registering and orienting arriving guests to the hotel upon arrival
  • 10% Settling guest accounts upon departure
  • 10% Assist the housekeeping department as needed including nightly turndown service
  • 10% Assist with Food & Beverage service daily needs
  • 10% Assist tasks of the General Manager

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Must have at least one year of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • Must be reliable, detail oriented & computer literate
  • Ability to multitask
  • Provide polite, courteous customer service
  • Maintain appearance standards as outlined in grooming guidelines

Physical Demands

  • Walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis.
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
