Job Overview

Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills.  They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities.  This role leads other Front Office and Guest Services colleagues by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing, and resolving guest complaints.

Front Office Supervisors lead the agents whom are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.   Other duties may include processing forms of payment, responding to guest inquires, problem resolution and guest satisfaction. Prior Front Office experience required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Experience and a thorough understanding of Front Office operations
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Prior Front Office experience required
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon shift and occasional overnight shifts with weekend and holiday availability.
  • Opera and Excel knowledge preferred
