Job Overview
The responsibilities of our Pastry Cook II position includes, preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry Shop standards, assist higher level bakers; other duties as assigned by management. This position requires good communication and previous pastry skills. The desired Pastry Cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures, and will work single stations in the kitchen, requiring significant supervision and training.
Qualifications
· Refined verbal communication skills.
· 2 years of previous professional pastry kitchen experience required.
· Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
· Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
· A minimum of 1 year high production kitchen experience preferred.
· Flexible schedule.
· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
