Zermatt Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced and service-driven Spa Director to lead the daily operations of the resort’s luxury spa and wellness programs. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing massage therapists, estheticians, spa coordinators, and wellness operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team development, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-focused wellness professional with strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a passion for luxury spa services and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily spa operations, including massage therapy, skincare, wellness services, and guest experiences
  • Lead, mentor, schedule, and support massage therapists, estheticians, and spa staff
  • Develop and implement spa service standards, operational procedures, and wellness programming
  • Monitor spa revenue, productivity, retail sales, payroll, and departmental budgets
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain luxury service standards
  • Collaborate with resort leadership, marketing, and sales teams to promote spa services and packages
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing spa professionals
  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Manage inventory, retail product offerings, and vendor relationships
  • Analyze guest feedback, market trends, and operational performance to improve profitability and service quality

Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of spa management or luxury hospitality leadership experience
• Experience managing massage therapists, estheticians, and wellness staff
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of spa operations, wellness services, retail sales, and guest service standards
• Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and departmental performance
• Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced resort environment
• Experience with spa booking systems and Microsoft Office preferred

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
