Job Overview
Guest Services Agent welcomes and creates the first impression upon guest arrival. Their primary responsibility is to greet guests upon arrival, carrying their luggage to and from their rooms, and assisting with any related baggage needs, often including storing luggage before check-in and retrieving it upon departure; essentially acting as a “bellhop” who focuses on handling guests’ luggage throughout their stay. This may include assisting the passengers during the loading and unloading process. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel guest services and knowledge of daily events.
- Maintain clear communication with front desk staff, other Guest Service Agents, and other team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, offering a friendly and hospitable greeting.
- Open doors for guests as they enter and exit the building, providing a courteous and seamless experience.
- Regularly inspect the entrance area to ensure it is clean, presentable, and free of hazards.
