PURPOSE OF POSITION: To ensure guest, owner and employee satisfaction in the Housekeeping Department. To provide a safe environment for our guests, owners and employees. To achieve budgeted profitability by adhering to Service and Safety Standards and by completing all assigned work in a timely manner.

 

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must have previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or condominium building
  • Ability to multi-task and be able to manage time appropriately
  • Respond to guest/owner needs in an appropriate, professional and courteous manner
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. un-assisted and be able to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Must have the ability to communicate at a basic level in English
  • Bilingual English and Spanish a plus but not required
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is a plus but not required
  • Must be on time, in uniform, and ready to work for assigned shifts which will include weekends and holidays as needed. Normal work week is 40 hrs. but some overtime may be required based on business needs

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleaning of multi-bedroom condominiums thoroughly and to the highest standards in the industry
  • Cleaning of building common areas thoroughly and to the highest standards in the industry
  • Stock condominiums with appropriate supplies as established by department standards
  • Cleaning dishes, by hand at time, and doing laundry in residential washer and dryers
  • Completing all assigned services within established timeframes set by the department
  • Report any damage or any items in need of repair or replacement to the department manager
  • Report and turn over any lost and found items to the department manager
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed in accordance with safety training guidelines
  • Keep accurate records on a daily time sheet for services performed
  • Perform any other duties as asked or assigned by the department manager

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Uniform requirements (work jacket, work shirt, work pants, and nametag) are provided by the company.  Employees must provide their own sturdy work shoes.

 

Pay: $21.00 per hour
