Job Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Clubhouse Manager to assist in elevating our food and beverage operations. This hands-on leadership role will assist in overseeing all front-of-house dining services, including Member Dining, Banquets, and the Snack Bar & Snack Cart, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional experiences to our members.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years of management experience in a restaurant, banquet, or similar hospitality setting. Fine dining, private club, resort, or hotel experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage teams up to 35 during a shift.
- Strong leadership skills in training, mentoring, scheduling, and team development.
- Flexible schedule with the willingness to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:·
- Assist with daily operations while also supporting administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with Banquet Captain on event planning, booking, and execution.
- Create and manage efficient staff schedules that meet business needs and stay within budget.
- Menu development, including pricing and POS setup.
- Assist in monthly beverage inventory and manage weekly ordering.
- Strong wine and liquor knowledge is a bonus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; ZoomShift for scheduling and Northstar software experience preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll systems (Paylocity is a plus), timecard approvals.
- Ability to speak comfortably at staff meetings and engage warmly with members.
- Professional appearance and approachable demeanor.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Available for late-night event wrap-ups and to secure the building after hours.

Work-Life Balance: Average 40-45 hours/week during the golf season, with some flexibility based on business cycles.
Typical schedule runs Wednesday–Sunday, 12PM–10 PM, with occasional Monday or Tuesday shifts during peak periods.

Clubhouse Calendar:
- January–February: Closed Mondays & Tuesdays (two-week closure in January)
- March–November: Closed Mondays, open Tuesday–Sunday (subject to private events)
- May–October: Peak golf season (weather-dependent)
- December: High volume of holiday events
