Dishwasher/Line Server Job Description
Reid Ranch Resort, located in the beautiful Uinta Mountains near Hanna, Utah (Duchesne County), is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher/Line Server for the 2026 summer season. This is a seasonal, live-on-site position supporting the kitchen staff and interfacing with guests at a family-friendly mountain resort serving approximately 150–250 guests per day in a buffet-style dining program.
The Dishwasher/Line Server plays a key role ensuring guests are served during each meal-time, sanitation procedures are followed, and dishes cleaned for the next meal.
Position Details
- Location: Reid Ranch Resort (Administrative office located in Salt Lake City)
- Season: May 18 – August 8, 2026
- Schedule: 5.5 days per week (Sundays off)
- Pay: $160 per day
- Housing & Meals: Room and board included
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, explain menu items, and answer questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions
- Check and test food temperatures to guarantee items are safe and kept at proper heat or cold thresholds
- Maintain a clean workspace in accordance with HACCP, OSHA, and local health regulations, which includes sanitizing utensils and wiping down the line
- Continuously communicate with kitchen and prep staff to ensure the line stays stocked with fresh dishes, plates, and condiments
- Wash all dishes and kitchenware following each meal
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of dish washing and guest services
- Previous Line Server experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Current Food Handler’s Permit required
- ServSafe certification preferred
