JOB DUTIES
Supervise the day-to-day activities of F&B outlets and room service. Ensure opening/closing duties are completed. Ensure daily/weekly cleaning is completed. Ensure the outlet is properly set-up and ready for guests at all times.
Supervise outlets and room service for shifts as scheduled by restaurant Manager. Supervise service delivery in outlets to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure (e.g., greeting from hostess, speed of order taking and food and beverage delivery, fulfillment of special requests, collection of payment & invitation to return). Assist servers, bartenders, and other staff and act as host on the floor during meal periods and high demand times. Handles guest problems and complaints. Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction (touches tables during service). Be visible and interact with guests and associates to provide consistently high service.
Aware of all Food and Beverage events and is able to answer staff and guest questions correctly. .
Incorporates guest satisfaction as a component of pre-meals with a focus on continuous improvement. Ensures corrective action is taken to continuously improve service results. Ensures recognition is taking place across areas of responsibility.
Ensure all staff are properly trained on quality and service standards and have the tools needed to effectively carry out their job functions.
Know, maintain and ensure compliance of all service standards (Marriott, AAA, HHA, Secret Shop, etc) in all outlets.
Know, maintain and ensure compliance of all local liquor laws and sanitation and safety regulations. Know and maintain safety and sanitation standards daily to ensure safe environment for staff and guests.
Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with peers and associates and ensures associates do the same within the team. Solicits associate feedback, utilizes an “open door” policy and reviews results to identify and address associate problems or concerns. Ensures consistent compliance and enforcement of policies and procedures.
Flexibility in available to work according to business needs, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Attends daily staff meetings as required by Food and Beverage Manager.
Ensure the security of guest and associate personal information.
REQUIRED SKILL SET IDEAL SKILL SET
- Read, write and speak fluent English.

- Carrying/lifting items up to 35 lbs.
- Stand 100% of the time up to 10 hours a day.
- Endure limited exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
- High school diploma or equivalent and three years of food and beverage management experience in a full service or similar setting.
- Ability to achieve Alcohol Awareness Certification and Safe Food Handler Certification.
- Knowledge of wine and spirit products including mixology.
- Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks. Must have excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to supervise associates.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, POS systems and Open table.
- Hospitality Management degree or formal food and beverage operations training preferred.
- Proven record of stable employment.
- Pay rate depend of experience.
