Job Overview

Ensure the smooth operation of food preparation including ordering. Oversee breakfast keeping the area clean, tidy and replenished. Work together as a team to achieve our goal of superior guest service.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
  • Must maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
  • Utah Food Handler’s Permit required (we can assist in you getting this)
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • An advantage to meet Deer Valley driving requirements (have a clean drivers license, be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of four years of driving experience) but not a necessity 
  • Honesty and reliability
  • All shifts will be in the morning and you must be available to work weekends and holidays (including spring break) 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report to work on time and open up
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space in the kitchen 
  • Simple preparation of breakfast food items 
  • Frequently check the breakfast room during breakfast to ensure that it breakfast items are replenished, dirty dishes are removed promptly and it is kept clean
  • Assist in tidying up after breakfast 
  • Prepare food for après ski
  • Have a complete knowledge of all the food and beverage products offered
  • Help with the development of new simple menu items
  • Have a working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment
  • Oversee restocking and ordering/purchasing of food items
  • Assist our guests with any service needs
  • Assist with any other guest service tasks
